2. Customizing an automation plan

Namei currently uses a 3-layer “drive-in” rack for product storage. The width of the cargo compartment and logistics channel is narrow, and heavy objects need to be picked up by high lift forks. The safety space between the body and the material is very small, which requires equipment that can provide sufficient stability and precision support to ensure the safety of on-site personnel.

3. Implementation

ASAP chose the Rocla wide-leg laser navigation AGV to handle Namei’s ground-level warehouse needs. It has a load capacity of 1250KG and a cargo lifting height of 3950mm. The AGV’s “laser triangle navigation” is conducive to rapid project startup and more flexibility in operation, without the need for retrofits such as magnetic nails or other in-ground installation. If routes need to be updated or altered, the only work needed is to reprogram the software. Using Rocla’s AGVs ensures high reliability and easy maintenance.

In addition, ASAP used customized Hikvision AGC equipment with a loading and unloading load of 600KG, which can be controlled with tablet devices and control buttons to easily view tasks and send instructions. Navigation uses two-dimensional code positioning (inertial navigation + visual navigation). Achieving millimeter-level accuracy, intelligent autonomous automatic charging can achieve an excellent battery life of 8 hours of charging for 1.5 hours.
